The Autism Society of Prince Edward Island, in partnership with Ocean 100 and K Rock 105.5 and other community partners, are proud to present our newest fundraising campaign.
Do you know someone who needs a little happiness in their day? Help us celebrate Autism Awareness Month by putting a smile on the face of someone in your life today! For only $25.00 you can purchase a “Hug A Gram” for your closest friend, co worker, parent or family member.
In partnership with Ocean 100.3 FM/K-Rock 105 FM and other corporate partners, we will be hosting a ‘Hug-o-Gram’ promotion throughout the month of October. This unique fundraising promotion will provide businesses and individuals with an opportunity to sponsor someone to receive a hug at their home or workplace in the Greater Charlottetown area from an Ocean/K-Rock on-air personality along with celebrity mascots from other community partners. In addition to the hug and a photo of the event, the lucky person will receive a mug containing hot chocolate, chocolate kisses and information about Autism. The price to sponsor a hug will be $25 which is tax receipt eligible. This promotion is an ideal way to build staff morale and as an added incentive for every ten hugs sponsored by a workplace the ‘boss’ will get one free!
Some of the Ocean/K-Rock on air personalities participating in the Hug-A-Gram promotion include Kirk MacKinnon and Kerri Wynne MacLeod, Colin MacKay and Zach Bell, Myles MacKinnon, Blair Rhodes, Gerard Murphy and Steve Murnaghan!
Each Hug purchased will include a visit and a hug from an Ocean/ K Rock personality and some of PEI’s most huggable mascots! And that’s not all….the person who you have purchased the Hug-A-Gram for will receive a Hug Mug. Each Hug Mug will be topped to the brim with hot chocolate packets and chocolates and information about Autism. The lucky hug recipient can also look forward to receiving a picture souvenir in the weeks following the Hug A Gram Campaign.
